DTN COMMENTS: Still just a few token bids on the table at midday, with the 
current board action those bids are easily passed. Significant trade volume 
will likely be delayed until Thursday or later. As of now asking prices are 
around $110 to $112 in the South, and $180 to $182 in the North. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 220.23 +0.59, 199.16 +0.21) with 
light to moderate box movement (36.36 lds of choice cuts, 18.19 lds of 
select cuts, 4.18 lds of trim, and 26.93 lds of ground). Cattle futures as 
of this writing are sharply higher on both live (up 100 to 235) and feeder 
(up 352 to 450) contracts.
